Spencer is a restaurant dedicated to quality, craft, and honesty. In our ingredients, we serve only food as local and organic as possible. In our wines and cheeses, we highlight producers who care about the tradition and craft of their practices. In our service, we aim to make customers feel at home, to be understood, and to feel sincerely respected as patrons and friends. Our team is small and dedicated, so we are looking for teammates who are driven, thoughtful, and collaborative. Flexibility and common sense are as important to us as previous experience, so bring your skills, techniques and love of food, but also an open mind and willingness to learn. This job is not easy, yet it can be very rewarding.

We are always accepting applications for both front-of-house and back-of-house positions; we hire for full-time positions only. Holiday and and weekend availability are required, as is a healthy amount of relevant experience. An ideal candidate would also be willing to work hard; exercise common sense and good judgment; always follow through; appreciate tedious tasks; pay attention to detail; have a sunny disposition; perform well under stress; clean up after themselves; have spatial awareness; be open-minded, patient and compassionate; and care about quality food.
